The first asemic artist I met
In every time and in every place of the world there have been people who have tried to write according to what their mind said, without following the rules of syntax or grammar or even graphics. I remember my aunt Annafelice, who died almost a hundred years old, to whom I had asked to close her eyes and draw what she saw: she did not know how to write but she composed dozens of sheets with an unknown and beautiful alphabet. She was the first anemic artist I ever met. I have kept those papers for over forty years.
